My Philosophy of Design
Design for people. To help people.
Building sustainable habits to create value for the org, stakeholders and most importantly the customers. Addiction to a product is neither a long term revenue solution nor it helps the society as a whole. Design is at best when it makes lives easier, more fulfilling to the customer.
Design helps people fall in love with the products. Creating a brand that lasts generations - build with trust, values and integrity. Creating experiences with inclusivity, accessibility, culture, empathy and innovation in mind is how we build sustainable products.
What I love to do
I have always been very curious about people’s interpretation and perception of products. I believe UX is linked with the - business reputation, product perception and brand value
I am at my best during product discovery, observing big systems interacting with each other and customers - mapping it with new ideas and hypothesis to solve customers issues. I like to understand from a system from a puzzle pov, and then create a list of initiatives that compliments our long term goals.
I thrive on trying to find insights from that observations of user behaviour. And either propel or use the insights to help shape our UX strategy better. I love betting on potential of people. I truly believe that without showing empathy to people we work with, its impossible to “show” empathy for the faceless millions of users.
Design shouldn’t worry about profits. Our focus and speciality is - human behaviour, human machine interaction, creativity and aesthetics. That is the craft, not just pixels in figma. That is what I inspire my team mates to focus on. To go into this ambiguous terrority fearlessly, and look for insights.
I have worked with some of the most brilliant designers who helped in creating ground breaking products. Most of them are now close friends and I would love to work with them in a heartbeat.
Currently I am working with YouTube, Google.
